This place is a great value compared to the rest of Cabo. Clean and comfortable rooms. The staff is on point: Mau and the security guard watched the camera footage to come find me and let me know I left the car lights on. Very appreciative of how nice the employees here are. The pool view is great, bar doesn’t open til later. Parking is validated. The restaurants at the Mercado are awesome btw.
The service, other than the front desk, is amazing! They have some amazing staff, especially Rafael. Rafael should be the face of Hampton Los Cabos, he is very helpful, kind, and professional! Location-wise, if you don’t have a car, it’s very far from everything in San Jose and San Lucas. If you have a car rental then it’s a perfect halfway point between San Jose center and San Lucas. The bed was comfortable and the rooms are cleaned everyday. Lulu did a great job cleaning our room! We enjoyed our stay, the only thing that I would encourage Hampton to improve on is their front desk, they are nice but need training on customer service and hospitality, team work (one was managing every guest while the other was not doing anything), and multitasking.
February 2022: This hotel is excellent and a pleasure to stay at. I’m writing a comprehensive update as there are a number of extremely misleading posts recently. Up until approximately September 2021, reviews for the hotel were outstanding… And very well merited. Unfortunately there was a major hurricane that caused a lot of damage in the general area and in particular to the hotel. For a period of time, the hotel pool was completely closed, and there had been significant flooding and moisture in different parts of the hotel. I am pleased to write to you that the hotel has been very diligent in renovating these areas. The pool has been completely redone and is absolutely stunning. It is on the fifth floor, the rooftop and has a stunning view of the ocean and mountains in the area. There is a full service bar and any of the restaurants in the plaza below will deliver food either to your room, or to the pool area. Any issues to do with mould that had been present in a few areas have been completely addressed. Hallways have been completely repainted. None of the rooms have carpet floors… They are all tile which is a pleasure to see. They are spotless. This is an outstanding hotel for a short stay and or, in particular business trips. I would highly recommend it. I have not been paid by anyone to write this, I just simply want to see an injustice corrected, as the posts over the last number of months that may have had merit are no longer the case. It should also be mentioned that the hotel is directly adjacent to a top hospital, and in the plaza below is a gym, spine health clinic, hair and nail clinic, real estate office, and an exceptionally good plaza filled with numerous restaurants that are quite inexpensive with excellent food. Have a great vacation.
We had an amazing time during our short stay at this hotel! The location is unbeatable, with restaurants and businesses just steps away. Plus, the continental Mexican breakfast was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!
The front desk Jorge is exceptional kind and helpful. He really treat the Hilton Diamond member as VIPs. He took the extra steps to make sure things are taken care of. Outstanding service!
Great spot in between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo. Bus stops right outside hotel so very easy to get to either. The koral shopping centre and food court is next to it so very handy whilst you get your bearings. Not so many shops as most of the commercial spaces were vacant but it was fine. Very close to Fresko grocery store too. Absolutely loved the included breakfast, great variety each morning. Hotel is very clean and staff are friendly. They don't advertise that they have guest laundry and we only saw it in the last day! Would definately stay again, perfect for not being in a noisy town centre but close enough to get bus or Uber there!

Amazing location! I will definitely be back because of the location and the service. Jorge at the front desk is super kind and helpful and the bartender upstairs on the rooftop Christopher was amazing. Great service and he makes a mean drink! I'll be back just to see them again
